The headland of Chouet was heavily fortified but quarrying destroyed many of the small defences. On the edge of the quarry lies a buried 633, of which the turret was removed. A Jäger is buried at the northside while a Jäger at the southside is still visible today. Next to it is a 4-S WaKoFest. In 1991 one of the Naval range finding towers (Marine Peilstand 1) fell into the Mont Cuet Quarry at Chouet. A landmark for whole the north coast disappeared in a big bang.
