There are recent new publications on this important hill east of Boulogne sur Mer. We present our findings.
Most of the bunkers on the highest point are either covered or completely flooded.
The strongpoint 244, Franzosenkraut was devided in an artillery part "Ost" and a commandcenter "West".
The main armament was placed in 2 x 669 and 2 x 611, the guns were 15 cm s. FH 18 and the men were from 4./169.
The part east was covered by Henk Adriaanse in 2007. He also made additions to the western part.
