Villa Kerillon, 1

A team of Belgian explorers managed to get permission to enter the villa Kerillon.
This villa was one of the three houses that were used by Admiral Dönitz' staff.
The Admiral himself used this "Chateau des Sardines". This name has its origin
by the fact that the fishingboat owners in Bretagne had the villas built at the end of the
nineteenth century. They made much money on the sardines trade.
We thank Pascal Matthieu for his permission to show the pictures of his trip.

Villa Kerillon.

Beautiful stairway.

Every coloured symbol represents an U-boat. The ones in black and white
are from the 2nd U-boat Flotilla, which was stationned in Lorient.
