There are many interesting bunkers in this "Panzerwerk" Nz 345. The coastal battery was manned by the navy.
All fortifications on the Pointe itself have been built nearby an old French fortress.
Others were placed in the surroundings and so it still looks as a formidable strongpoint,
althought the southern part of it was demolished for new houses. (Several pictures Henk Adriaanse, 2005).
