Saye Bay

Saye Bay is small sandy bay. One of Alderney's forced labourer camps was located behind the dunes. Ironically it is now a campingsite. The waterbunker of the camp is located on a small hill east of the main road along the coast. In the bend of the road on the tip of the hill a Tobruk for tankturret can be found. It was defended by two Pak guns of Stp Biberkopf at Bibette Head. On the eastern side at Château a L'Étoc was a 20 mm Flakbattery and several infantery positions.
