Kerdalaez

This site is a small mystery. Some sources bring wartime pictures of this battery. On some of them the sea is visible. Other pictures, in private collection, show the distancefinder and parts of the thin steel cupolas that had to be placed here. We have searched the area in 2008 and did not find any crumbs of some concrete. However, 2010 brings us better maps on Google Earth, these show us the battery. Now the location is certain, we must conclude that it lies outside the Brest area. Maybe the reason why it is not possible to connect an unit to this ghost battery and the fact that it does not appear on the German maps of Brest. The battery was part of MFlak 803 so we bring it here in Brest and in the area Bretagne north.
