This, La 318, was a major German radar site, combined with a big controlpost for night fighter operations. When you take the road from the lighthouse to the south, you see the concrete towers of the L485 on the left. At this side a basement for Freya and a 2 cm Flak stand remains. At you right hand is a path trough the heath fields, on which you find for instance the L 479, a 622 and a sockel for a Würzburg radar. The two stories commandpost is a nice object. However since 2007 the site is protected and the bunkers are reserved to be used for bats.
Trenches in beautiful colors.
