Harbour

Just as the title suggest, this chapter covers the harbours in Le Havre. They lie in the mouth of the river Seine and were always important for the oil supply of France. The big port has an open connection to the sea, the smaller ones have locks. Both piers at the entrance had batteries placed in casemates. Due to the limited space they were build closely together.
