Berck

In and around Berck quite an amount of bunkers can be found nowadays. The most important locations are Stützpunkt Berck-Nord near the old Sanatorium and the 17cm K18 battery more inland between Merlimont and Berck along the D 940. Then you have the airfield with several emplacements, some small works south of the hospital and several smaller bunkers in the village.

The deserted tuberculosis sanatorium which once dominated the Stp Berck-Nord. It was demolished in the beginning of 2009.
