S 446, MKB Ørlandet

On the highest point of Ørland at Lerberen the Germans built the Leitstand for the MKB Ørlandet. The two storied bunker is connected to a tunnel system with supporting functions like sanitation.

The armoured rangefinding turret which was above the armoured box was moved to the museum some years ago.

The armoured observation box for the periscope is protected by 9cm thick plates.
